Your membership is valid for 365 days from the date you join, regardless of the time of year. After joining, you gain access to professionally organized, amateur golf tournaments at courses throughout Central Massachusetts. As a member, you'll enjoy:
Annual membership is $200 and automatically renews, cancel anytime. Tournament entry fees are separate.
We welcome all amateur golfers ages 18 and older who enjoy friendly competition and share a passion for the game. Players of varying skill levels are encouraged to join and we use handicap-based flights to create a fair and competitive environment.
We do ask that members have some experience playing golf, maintain an official GHIN handicap, and are comfortable playing competitive rounds while following the rules and etiquette of the game.

Worcester Golf Tour hosts tournaments at a variety of golf courses throughout Central Massachusetts. With dozens of excellent public and private courses in the region, our goal is to offer members a diverse schedule featuring challenging layouts, familiar favorites, and opportunities to experience new courses.

Absolutely! The prize purse varies depending on field size and there are several opportunities to win. Depending on the event, prizes may be awarded for low gross and low net scores in each flight, skins competitions, closest-to-the-pin contests, and other tournament challenges.
Most tournaments feature individual stroke play, but we'll also mix things up with formats like Stableford and Four-Ball to keep the competition fresh and exciting. Prize amounts and competition details will be announced before each tournament.
Not at all! We welcome all amateur golfers throughout Massachusetts and beyond to come and compete with us. While our tournaments are primarily held in Central Massachusetts, membership is open to anyone willing to travel to our events. Whether you're from Worcester, a neighboring community, or farther away, you're welcome to join us.

Registering for a tournament is quick and easy! Visit our Tournament Schedule to browse upcoming events, view tournament details, and select the event you'd like to play.
Once you've selected a tournament, simply log in to your member account, complete your registration, and pay the tournament entry fee online. You'll receive a confirmation email with your registration details. Tee times and additional tournament information will be provided as the event approaches.
We understand that plans can change. If you need to cancel your tournament registration, please notify us as early as possible so we can fill your spot.
If an event is cancelled due to weather, course conditions, or other circumstances, all registered players will have the option of receiving a full refund or credit toward a future tournament.

Non-members can participate in one tournament as a guest before committing to an annual membership. The tournament entry fee is higher and you must meet the same eligibility, handicap, and competition requirements as members.
After your appearance, you'll need to become a member to participate in additional tournaments.
Join within 30 days of your appearance and we'll credit your additional fee toward your annual membership!
Yes, all Worcester Golf Tour members and guests must maintain an active USGA Handicap Index through GHIN. Your handicap helps us organize competitive flights and ensure fair competition among golfers of different skill levels.

The outdoor golf season runs approximately from April 1st to Thanksgiving and we'll hold, on average, 2 weekly events, one weekday and one weekend event. During the off season, we'll keep the competition going with indoor simulator tournaments and special events.
We also plan a destination tournament in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina each March!
There are no minimum tournament requirements, although the more you play, the more season points you can earn. Members can participate in one, or all the events.

Tournament day is designed to be organized, competitive, and enjoyable! The registration table will be clearly marked and open 90 minutes prior to the first tee time. We recommend arriving at least 30 minutes before your scheduled tee time to check in, warm up, and prepare for your round.
At check-in, you'll receive any necessary tournament instructions, scoring information, and competition details. During your round, one player in each group will keep scores digitally, which allows all players to follow the live leaderboard. And every player tracks scores on a scorecard to sign and turn in.
After play, scores are verified, results are posted, and tournament winners are announced.
